Coke Bottle Sea Glass

In this week's video, I use an example of a found shard to discuss several things that can sometimes be immediately known about some sea glass when its found, and which gives us an idea of how much time an individual shard may have spent in the ocean.

These things that we know help us to make educated assumptions about the hydration process and, specifically, how much time shards spend in the ocean before they become completely conditioned, and the stages that the shards go thru on their way to becoming completely 'cooked.'
